World Investor Week 2024
I am honored to have been invited by SGX Group to attend the Securities Market Open Ceremony on 14th October 2024 at SGX Centre. This event, held in conjunction with The World Federation of Exchanges’ 'Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy' Campaign during World Investor Week 2024, highlights the importance of financial education.
Representatives from the Institute of Financial Literacy (IFL), MAS MoneySense, and The Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS) were present to grace the occasion. It’s a privilege to be recognized among those working to further this cause for investors and clients.
Reflecting on my journey in the stockbroking and advisory industry, I remember how, 20 years ago, information was much scarcer. Today, the situation has reversed - investors are often overwhelmed with a deluge of data, not all of which is accurate. In this age of information overload, it’s even more critical for clients and investors to partner with the right stockbroker and advisor who can provide clarity and the appropriate perspective on the Capital Markets.
